    The other day I had the pleasure of babysitting my niece Alexa, 5 and nephew Justin, 3. To most, this is an act of sacrifice in a world that seems to contain less and less time at our disposal. This planet is plagued by the notion that money is cheap and time is too expensive. And to some degree, this could be true. However, I put aside these accepted thoughts and decided to play with zeal. More importantly, through the course of the day and using my keen bat-detection skills, I happened upon a few of life’s truths that until that moment had been lost to the memory of younger days.
