DIMENSION ONE SPAS

The Dimension One corporate site is the most complex site project I have managed. My role as project coordinator and art director involved creating the overall web strategy as well as the style and appearance of the site. Once internal clients were satisfied with the groundwork, it was my responsibility to manage a team of graphics, flash, html, and javascript specialists to bring the site to life. The challenge was increased given the global nature of the project with contractors located in England, Poland, and Brazil.

HOT TUB APPLIANCE MINI-SITE

As Dimension One’s market was growing, the strategic marketing decision to move into the kitchen and bath industry was made. In an effort to test the theory, six months of advertisement space was purchased in Kitchen & Bath Business magazine. The ad was designed to drive traffic to a website that would provide a hook and lead capture. As the campaign was considered to have low revenue value, minimal time was requested of the web team so I used another Flash template to quickly fill the needs of the promotion. This site was built and launched within 8 hours.

2009 D1 PRODUCT BROCHURE

Arguably the most important print piece I design, the annual product brochure sets the tone that the brand will carry for the year. Per dealer request this year, we’ve included it in an online format.

AQUATIC FITNESS SYSTEMS

My primary role on this project was to coordinate the visual identity of the brand to the web contractor in order to ensure that the website met specified marketing needs. Additionally, this meant a great deal of consulting about the methods and style of interactivity needed for a successful web launch.

HTML EMAILS

CampaignMonitor.com is a tool I brought to Dimension One that would serve several key functions for our e-marketing strategy. It would provide a customizable template format for sending HTML emails that had been tested as valid in nearly all browser and email clients. It would also provide back-end data analytics over several features from open rate, link click rate, email forward rate, etc. Additionally, it acted as a white listed server to send out mass emails of a server managed subscriber lists of up to 50,000 users.

CALAFATA CONSTRUCTION

Calafata Construction is in the process of moving from a more traditional residential construction and electric company to a solar dealer/installer specialist. They had identified their target demographic as Gen-X and Y and needed a web presence to capture more interest. However, their budget was modest and their need for modification on a constant basis was high. In order to solve both issues, I employed WordPress as a CMS that was customized for their use up front, leaving them with a simple to update site which they maintain.

THE WELLNESS QUOTIENT

As part of the overall Dimension One web strategy, I created a WordPress blog connected by articles to our key word topics and to the articles posted in d1spas.com/news. Using social media (technorati, mixx, digg, stumble, etc..) we quickly boosted traffic to d1spas.com and increased our organic rankings on the specified keyword sets. Additionally, we’ve set it up as a third part entity and generate revenue to cover maintenance through the use of Google AdWords, Amazon affiliates, and private ads.

ROYAL RAPSCALLION MAGAZINE

Created purely for fun, the Royal Rapscallion is another WordPress site that I run with a friend that keeps tabs on whatever we deem worthy of a tab. It ranges from the fun to the bizarre, to pure interests. It is set up to generate revenue, but the real fun behind this site was setting up a magazine style theme that operates with a level of dynamicism I have never previously tried.
